Annual General Meeting

Join us on Sunday November 19 for CHF BC's Annual General Meeting, our 35th! There are some new highlights this year so please read all the details below and register early!

  1. **New this year - our registration is online** To register a delegate, alternate or observer, click the register button at the bottom of the registration information page.
  2. For the second year, our AGM will be held at the Sheraton Vancouver Airport Hotel in Richmond starting at 10:30 a.m. followed by a lunch and plenary featuring keynote speaker Shane Koyczan, where we join with participants in the Housing Central Affordable Housing Conference
  3. An election! We'll be holding an election for five at-large positions on the CHF BC board and one position on the CHF BC Finance Committee. To nominate a candidate, download the candidate's declaration form and submit by Friday, November 10, 2017 at 4:30 p.m.
  4. Call for resolutions: We're accepting resolutions from members for consideration at the AGM, deadline to submit a resolution is 9:00 a.m. on Monday, November 6, 2017.
  5. Members are welcome to stay on after our AGM for a housing "Sector Supper" where we will enjoy special entertainment and celebrate our 35th anniversary with our community housing partners. 
  6. If co-op members registered for our AGM wish to attend the Housing Central Conference, we have a special arrangement for you to register at the conference for a deeply discounted $300 for the Monday and Tuesday following the AGM. While the conference is focused on all types of affordable housing, we've identified some workshops that have the most overlap with housing co-op members - see the list at the bottom of our AGM/conference information page.
