New Member Orientation - CHF BC Spring Education Conference 2017

How do you introduce your new members to co-op living? Don't you wish you had an attractive, effective orientation package to give them? Join us for this practical, fast-paced, interactive workshop. In three short hour you will be well on your way to meeting this goal.

In this practical, fast-paced, interactive workshop you'll get concrete tools and great ideas for your co-op’s new member orientation package. You will be guided through a creative process that will start by identifying what the purpose of a member orientation package is, and what it should include. We will then share ideas, draft content on best practice templates, and discuss how and why to personalize your package.

Before lunch you will have all you need to create your own member orientation package for your co-op! Bring any draft, outdated, or related materials to use as sources during the session. Work on print handouts or bring your laptop to work directly on electronic templates. All participants will have access to the electronic handouts and templates following the workshop.
