Art for housing

Are you an artist or do you know an artist living in a co-op who tackles issues related to housing and homelessness? We would love to hear from you!

The upcoming Housing Central Conference from November 18 to November 21 will feature an art exhibition on Tuesday, November 21 that will include art about housing-related issues, homelessness, mental health, addictions, resilience and healing, created both by professional artists and by people who live in non-profit housing, housing co-ops or who access social services.

The BC Non-Profit Housing Association (BCNPHA) invites artists with housing-themed artwork to come to the conference to talk to delegates about their work, or ship the work to the conference and they'll help you display it.

The exhibition will be curated by Robi Smith, a professional artist with extensive experience working with BCNPHA. If you'd like to be involved contact him at artshow@bcnpha.ca or (604) 928-4284.
