Co-op members joined CHF BC for the first ever Island Education Day held March 8 at the Howard Johnson Hotel. Many thanks to members who turned out on a beautiful Saturday and to Instructor Jeff McKeil who facilitated a full day Board Basics workshop.
Members enjoyed the informative session and said they learned a lot about CHF BC materials developed specifically to help co-ops govern and manage themselves well. There were 13 co-ops represented and lots of discussion as people shared their own co-op experience regarding board issues.
