1. All Co-operative Housing Federation of British Columbia (CHF BC) Year of Belonging Award decisions are made by CHF BC staff. These decisions are final.


2. Incomplete or late submissions will not be accepted.


3. CHF BC Year of Belonging Awards applicants must represent a CHF BC member housing house co-operative.


4. CHF BC Year of Belonging Awards applicants may be contacted for a virtual interview.


5. Names, submission information, and media submitted as part of this form may be used by CHF BC on their website, social media channels, or in other publications.


6. CHF BC Year of Belonging Award recipients, or there representatives, agree to participate in CHF BC functions, if attendance is requested. This includes the 2024 Spring Forum on May 26, 2024.

The information collected by the Co-operative Housing Federation of British Columbia (CHF BC) through this Year of Belonging Award submission form is governed by B.C.’s Personal Information Protection Act. This privacy statement is to inform you of how CHF BC intends to use your information and to confirm your agreement.

The Year of Belonging Award is a program of the Co-operative Housing Federation of British Columbia (CHF BC). CHF BC is committed to ensuring the confidentiality of all personal information it holds.

By providing the information on this form, you agree that CHF BC can use the information to determine your housing co-operative’s eligibility for a Year of Belonging Award, and to correspond with you about that award from time to time.

You have the right to withdraw your consent to the collection, use or disclosure of your personal information at any time. The likely consequence of doing so is that your submission will not be considered, except if extenuating circumstances are accepted by CHF BC. We will advise you of the likely consequences upon receiving written notification of withdrawal of consent.
