With great sadness we share the news of the passing of our long-time education consultant and friend, April English.Many of you knew April through her popular workshops and her work as a facilitator, mediator and meeting chair. It was not uncommon for co-ops to reschedule meetings just to be sure that April would be available to help them work through their toughest challenges. April was a partner in her own conflict resolution firm, the YES Resolution Group and a consultant for CHF BC. She specialized in organizational and community development, strategic planning, multiparty conflict intervention and mediation, adult education, and discrimination and communication in the workplace. April was fearless in her determination to give everyone a voice in the many workshops and meetings she guided for CHF BC and our member co-ops. We all learned from her and we are all grateful that we knew her.There will be a Celebration of Life in April’s honour at 5:30 p.m. on Friday June 24 at VanDusen Botanical Garden’s Floral Hall  at 5251 Oak Street, Vancouver, BC.
