CHF BC is holding an election at the Vancouver Island Council Meeting on October 17, 2007 to choose a Vancouver Island Director for the CHF BC Board of Directors.
This will be the first election held on Vancouver Island since the changes to CHF BC rules were approved at last year’s AGM.
One Vancouver Island Director will be elected for a two-year term. The term begins at the end of CHF BC’s Annual General Meeting on November 24, 2007.
You can run for election if you are a member of a non-profit housing co-op whose CHF BC dues are current; at least 18 years old; live on Vancouver Island; have not been found by a court to be incapable of managing your own affairs; do not owe your housing co-op any money; and are not an undischarged bankrupt.
