CHF BC welcomes new staff to our team

CHF BC would like to announce two recent additions to our staff team: Saurabh Parnami and Yuri Artibise. We looking forward to working with them as they contribute to our work in representing and serving our members.

Saurabh Parnami – Asset Management Program Analyst

Saurabh is an outcome-driven professional with both creative and analytical capabilities. He’s passionate about including the idea of “social enterprise” in every role he has held and wishes to pursue.

Saurabh brings to CHF BC over fifteen years of experience in commercial property and residential strata management in both India and Canada. This experience includes creating sustainable long-term asset management plans for a variety of residentail properties. Saurabh has a Masters in Business Administration and holds a broker license for strata and rental property management.

When not working, Saurabh loves to connect, and network and his hobbies include playing tennis, swimming, trekking, and having conversations.

Yuri Artibise – Communications Director

After his role as board member for many years, most recently serving as treasurer, Yuri will be know to many of you. 

He is an experienced co-operative leader who has served the co-operative housing sector in many capacities. In addition to his CHF BC board work, Yuri’s co-operative housing involvement includes being a original resident member, and serving on the inaugural board, of First Avenue Athletes Village Housing Co-operative in Vancouver, where he now serves as treasurer. Yuri also serves on the board of Rooftops Canada, as CHF Canada’s western representative.

Yuri brings a wide range of skills and experience to this position. With over 20 years of work experience and a Masters in Public Administration, he is an experienced communications officer, public policy advisor, and community engagement professional with experience working for federal, provincial and local governments.

Yuri is also a trained health and well-being coach and is an active volunteer with the MS Society of Canada. In his spare time, you will find Yuri enjoying a craft beer at one of our province’s local breweries, walking on the seawall, or working on his latest LEGO creation.
