We are very excited to announce that we are expanding our team of advisors to housing co-operatives!
We have more than doubled our responses to members, in terms of advice and support than this time last year. And we can expect this trend to continue as more housing co-ops exit their operating agreements and more co-op homes are being built. Recent events have created opportunities to build on and improve our member outreach program and we are embracing this with enthusiasm.
Housing co-operatives are a realistic solution for the challenges of housing supply and affordability and the Co‑operative Housing Federation of BC plays a critical role in supporting and modelling best practices in sound management, good governance, and environmental sustainability.
If you work with housing co-operatives and are enthusiastic to share your knowledge and passion by providing developing resources and providing direct assistance to co-op members, then an amazing career opportunity awaits you at CHF BC. Our federation is learning organization and we are leading the way in providing tailor made solutions to support housing co-operatives in becoming inclusive and welcoming communities for generations to come.
Salary commensurate with experience and ranges between $60,000 and $65,000 annually. Proven experience working with housing co-ops and applying sound governance, management policies and legislations is required.
