CHF BC members took part in a packed day of learning on Saturday, October 25, with all workshops designed to help co-ops prepare for a thriving and prosperous future.Workshops offered ranged from an all-day workshop “Get Real: Re-engineering your co-op” to ten half-day workshops on issues  from co-op basics like What makes a good director and Effective boards and committees, to ones focused on policies and planning after the end of co-op operating agreements. Rounding out the list were a mix of panel workshops and topics that spanned the generations: Think Young: Developing your young member engagement strategy and Aging in our co-op communities. The excellent lunch also gave over 120 co-op members and others a chance to network and compare notes on their conference experience.Many of the conference workshops are also available as portable workshops we can bring to your co-op.All conference participants can now access workshop materials online.
