38 years ago today a small but determined group of housing co-ops activated the principle of “co-operation among co-operatives” by founding CHF BC. In 2020, CHF BC unites, represents and serves more than 250 member co-ops with almost 14,000 co-op homes. We offer a wide range of education, group buying, and planning and renewal services and we are actively growing a community of permanently affordable co-op homes. We are grateful to our members, directors and staff for their vision, loyalty and resilience.
