CHF BC is relieved to know that the housing co-ops in the Abbotsford area are undamaged after recent flooding.  Our staff has reached out to co-ops in this worst-hit region and was informed that the local co-ops are all on high ground.

If your co-op was affected by the floods and you need advice, including understanding your co-op’s insurance protection, please don’t hesitate to reach out to CHF BC and/or CHF Canada.

We are still investigating the BC flood impact on agricultural co-ops of the Fraser Valley.

If you would like to support those affected by the floods, consider donating to the Vancity Humanitarian Fund. Funds will go to Abbotsford Community Foundation, First Nations partners, the Canadian Red Cross and an organization that works with migrant workers.  Vancity will match donations made until December 19, 2021.
