Island members at the February 23 council meeting participated in a forum discussing why governments should invest in more co-op housing and what co-ops can do to get co-ops on the governments’ agenda.
Members were pleased to hear that the upcoming Island Education Day on March 25 will feature legal issues as a theme and two great workshops: ‘Human rights in co-ops’ and ‘Frequently asked legal questions’.
