We are seeking a Controller to play an integral role in our organization’s growth. The CLT expect our portfolio to include more than 3,500 homes in the next three years. Several projects are currently under development and construction.
The Controller is a self-motivated accounting and finance professional responsible for the day-to-day operations of our close-knit accounting department. You will oversee the organization’s financial management and implement internal controls. You will also support development, property management, audit, and accounting functions.
The Controller plays a key operational role within the department, advising the development and housing operations teams to maintain sound financial management across the organization. You will ensure that internal controls work effectively and implement sound processes to achieve the organization’s financial goals while managing risk prudently.
The ideal candidate is unafraid of tackling unfamiliar challenges and enjoys collaborating with different people to find common solutions. You are eager to leave your mark on a growing organization and enjoy thinking of creative, efficient ways to use technology. You will also be responsible for the reliability and accuracy of all accounting information for each of the properties held by the Community Land Trust.
The successful candidate must be an organized individual with a proven ability to multi-task, problem-solve, and prioritize challenging workloads independently.

$110,500 – 130,000/year. Salary commensurate with experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including retirement and education allowances.
