CHF BC and CHF Canada members came together for an exciting round of speed networking at the March Member Forum on Monday, March 12.After getting updates from the federations and the latest news on co-op celebrations for the International Year of Co-operatives (IYC), the members paired up as “ducks” and “eggs” to network with different partners in seven minute intervals.  Members were charged up by all the great discussions about celebrating IYC and the chance to trade insights on common housing co-op issues. Jane from Van East Co-op noted that there were ” a lot of cool discussions”. Other members noted how much they learned from being able to compare stories with other co-ops: “Good to come together and share ideas,” said Linda from False Creek  Co-op. “Really neat people who gave a lot of ideas and support,” noted Charlene from Kits Terrace Co-op.The next Member Forum will be Wednesday April 11 following the Easter Weekend, 7 pm at the CHF BC Vancouver office.  All members welcome!
