The Urban Politics and Governance research group at McGill University is leading a research project for the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation to better understand the lived experiences of housing transitions in Canada.
They are looking to interview housing co-operative members in British Columbia who have had a recent (i.e. in the past five years or so) experience of a move into or out of a housing co-operative. By analysing these interviews, they hope to better understand transitions within the ‘housing continuum’ and use this insight to inform housing policy for Canadians.
Interviews can be conducted in English or French. Each interview will be approximately one hour long. All interviews will be strictly confidential and data will be anonymized.
This study is being conducted by David Wachsmuth and the Urban Politics and Governance (UPGo) research group at McGill University in partnership with the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation.
Findings from this research will be released in a public report in 2024.
