A record 181 people registered for CHF BC’s Fall Education Conference on Saturday, October 22. Just some of the popular workshops at the Conference were Housing subsidies in a post-operating agreement world, Lessons in law: recent cases your co-op should know about and Capital financing for housing co-ops.Co-op members came from Vancouver and the Lower Mainland, as well as travelling from seven Island co-ops along with members from Sahali Co-op in Kamloops.Many co-ops sent more than one member. In total, 71 co-ops had members at the event.  One participant commented, “It was a great conference: We had three members attend a variety of workshops….great resources to bring back to our co-op!”Participants can download workshop materials online.If you are not able to open this link, and did attend the conference, it is because you need to be registered for the Members’ Only pages of our website AND we need to know your username.Please take a moment to sign up for access to our Members’ Only pages.  THEN, email your website username to dferguson@chf.bc.ca.
