CHF BC’s second annual Interior Education Day was a big hit in Kelowna on Saturday, April 21. Members from four BC Interior co-ops spent the day learning about how best to keep their co-ops in good repair and plan for future capital replacements.
Members from Kelowna and Vernon were able to share valuable experiences and information on maintenance. One member thought it was “one of the best workshops I have been to”. Another member said that instructor Jamie Ritchie provided “excellent information in his presentation as well as his personal experience.”
“It’s very important that we enable our members throughout the entire province to access education services,” says education director, Sue Moorhead. “CHF BC is commited to holding education days every year in the Interior, and we’re working on expanding the use of our website and the Internet to make education resources even more available.”
