shows that rent trends in non-profit co-op housing differs dramatically from that of the private rental sector, where rents have increased nationally by 11 percent in the last year alone.

CHF Canada is recruiting for a full time, permanent position of Director, Co-operative Housing Development. The position will be based in Toronto or Ottawa (with consideration for remote/telecommuting).

This funding means that federally-administered co-ops located in BC, Alberta, Ontario, Quebec and PEI, whose operating agreements expired before April 2016 will now be able to access rental assistance until 2028 through FCHI.
