On Saturday, February 25, Avis and Peter Michalovsky joined CHF BC and others in celebrating Island co-ops and attending the Victoria Health Co-operative Annual General Meeting. Many thanks to the Victoria Health Co-operative for hosting this event!

About the Victoria Health Co-operative

The Victoria Health Co-operative is a group of individuals, passionate about well-being for ourselves and our community. They bring together wellness practitioner members from many disciplines and members to benefit from their treatments. They organize and support wellness programs for members and the wider community. Their Board of Directors is diverse and manages the activities of the VHC as our organization is primarily volunteer-run.

When the VHC first developed their vision of a community of well-being, they recognized the equality of all participants, and the need for all to both benefit from and contribute to the well-being of all. They also recognized that being guided by the Definition, Values and Principles set out by the International Co-operative Alliance would help achieve their objectives.
