The BuildingBC: Community Housing Fund (CHF) has received funds for an extra 6,000 new homes for families and seniors. Over the next four years, the plan is to issue more CHF proposal calls and allocate the remaining units.

BC Housing is currently inviting non-profit and Indigenous housing societies, First Nations, housing co-operatives and municipalities to propose new affordable housing projects for the intake of the Building BC: Community Housing Fund.

The CHF develops affordable rental housing for families, independent seniors and individuals. This video offers a detailed overview of the CHF and a step-by-step guide on eligibility, program requirements and how to apply.
