Indigenous anti-racism: Where to begin – Spring Education Conference, April 24, 2021

Workshop Intro:

10:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.

This workshop is for all people who wish to engage with being a supportive ally for Indigenous people but are nervous and afraid to say or do the wrong thing. We will develop some shared vocabulary, go through some exercises, and learn tools on how to be anti-racist with a focus on the racism Indigenous people face. This space and time we share will be both a safe space and also challenge people to consider new ideas and approaches in their work to being a better ally.
